This course aims to equip students with an understanding of the methodology of the philosophy of science, encouraging them to strike a reflective balance between the theoretical perspectives of the philosophy of mind and the empirical evidence of cognitive science. By engaging with original texts in both philosophy and cognitive science, students will enhance their ability to articulate and defend their views clearly while developing strong, disciplined philosophical writing skills.

This seminar course explores the impacts of globalization, with a focus on China. The course will include in-class readings, discussions, and mini-projects. We will together read through the recent economics literature on a set of topics related to the open-up of China in the mid-19th century, impacts of free trade agreements, imports and exports, foreign investment, migration, human capital accumulation, income inequality, etc. 

Through the teaching of this course, students are introduced to the basic ideas and methods of object-oriented programming. Through learning and combining computer practice, students can understand the general methods of computer problem solving, master interface production, program writing and debugging, and enable students to have the ability to write simple application programs. This will lay a solid foundation for further self-study of other programming languages and improve programming skills in the future, while also improving students' logical thinking ability and meticulous thinking ability.

The basic contents include: VB development environment and basic programming steps, basic controls and language basics, basic control structures, arrays, procedures, commonly used controls, menus, multiple forms and files, etc.

The course will introduce Olympic movement and the related controversies and views from the perspective of culture In broad sense, analyze the relationship between Olympic culture and human and social development, politics, economy and world peace as well as the environmental protection. 

Course objectives It is intended that through the course students can learn and acquire the values and the positive character traits that are assumed to be developed in sport and Olympic Movement; to examine closely all aspects of the modern Olympic Games and Olympism in order to offer a comprehensive understanding of two key aspects of the Modern Olympic Culture: its historical developments and its present fundamental characteristics; the nature of the tensions created in the process of its evolution which have led to recent reforms.

This course teaches students the basic knowledge and methods of simultaneous interpreting through lectures, exercises and guidance, enables them to acquire basic skills, and equips them with necessary training methods.

• Provide a comprehensive introduction to the history, current state, and trends in entertainment reporting and programs, both domestically and internationally.
• Analyze print media, broadcast television, and online entertainment content.
• Help students understand the social functions of entertainment reporting and its interaction with other media types.
• Foster critical thinking about the future development of entertainment reporting and how it relates to societal mechanisms and other forms of media.

This course helps students master the basic theories and key viewpoints of organizational communication and guide students in applying relevant theories to analyze organizational communication phenomena and problems.
