This course is structured around the organizational content of general mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities. Beginning with the institutional environment of M&A, it systematically elaborates on the strategic choices, procedural steps, valuation modeling, transaction structure design, and financing strategies involved in M&A, all supported by specific case studies. Additionally, the course provides a comprehensive introduction to restructuring activities such as corporate alliances, exit and restructuring strategies, and the dissolution of failing enterprises, as well as cross-border M&A activities. Through this approach, the course aims to thoroughly and systematically present and teach the processes, tools, and solutions related to acquisitions, mergers, and corporate restructuring.

The course shall provide an overview of modern financial technology. Topics include digital banking, trading, artificial intelligence applications, big data, textual analysis, blockchain and regulatory challenges.

The basic purpose of this course is to deeply understand mathematical thought and values behind classical knowledge in mathematics.

The course is for learners with intermediate Chinese and a vocabulary of more than 600. It aims to expand students’ vocabulary and develop their Chinese ability. After studying, they can use the language accurately when tackling everyday scenarios and address regular topics with short speeches, including writing and speaking.

The content of this course includes the basic principles, main theories and common methods of human resource management, covering all functions of selecting, using, educating and retaining human resource management. Specifically, it includes the basic concepts and concepts of human resource management, the framework of strategic human resource management, the basic work of human resource management (quality model, job analysis), human resource planning, personnel recruitment, human resource development, performance management, compensation management, labor relations, human resource management model with Chinese characteristics, corporate culture and human resource management. 

This course helps students to understand the historical processes of the Renaissance and the Reformation, and based on lectures, readings, and classroom discussions, clarify the impacts of the Renaissance and Reformation on the formation of modern European civilization, especially the relationship between the Renaissance and the secularization of Europe, Protestantism and capitalism, and the Reformation and the rise of modern nation-states.

This course aims to help students master the fundamental principles and methods of quality management. Through practical case studies, students will develop the ability to apply their knowledge to analyze and solve real-world problems. Additionally, the course will guide students to adopt a global perspective, fostering a leadership and managerial mindset. Students will enhance their ability to identify, break down, and solve problems. Through systematic thinking training, students will understand the importance of structure, rules, and attitude in quality management, laying a solid foundation for their future career development.

2. Summarize new theories of technological innovation economics based on historical technological and economic trends.
3. Analyze innovation and entrepreneurship case studies from hundreds of technology enterprises and cultivate an innovative spirit in the face of various risks.
4. Develop a deep understanding of the business origins of technological innovation and entrepreneurship through business plan preparation.
5. Forecast future technological development trends and anticipate national competitiveness improvements in technological innovation and entrepreneurship.

The course covers the entire entrepreneurial process, including principles of college student entrepreneurship, innovative thinking, opportunity identification, business model selection, business plan development, financing, team building, policies, risk management, new venture establishment, and IPO pathways. Emphasis is placed on cultivating entrepreneurial mindset and skills.
