Course Description
This course considers whether the existence of a supranational political space organized by structures and common cleavages is at the heart of the interrogations regarding the European integration process. The goal of this course is to explore several sides to this interrogation, questioning if the political behaviors (voting, mobilizations) of Europeans can show signs of the construction of this supranational political space. Thus the partisan structures and the voting behaviors are analyzed (notably in light of the European elections of May 2019) as well as the mobilizations (NGO, associations, interest groups of all types) surrounding the central issues of European integration (economics, environment, health, basic rights, culture).

Course Description

This course explores the major questions raised by the ambition of today's literature to render justice, as well as the risks of public and even legal contestation to which it is exposed. By browsing works that have given rise to a public debate, scandal, or even lawsuit, and exposing the terms of the controversy and its stakes (the difference between fiction and testimony, the rights of the characters in the face of romantic or family settling of accounts, the limits of the representable, the debates on cultural appropriation, the traumatic risks of reading, the search for transgression, new forms of censorship, etc.), this course introduces contemporary literature in its liveliest and most political form. It also returns to major societal issues (the rise of populism, social crises, the Me Too affair, contemporary family recompositions, debates on postcolonialism, racialism, etc.) from an original angle: that of the story of fiction.

Course Description
This course is an introduction into the new methods of understanding international history, by broadening the history of international relations. It is chronological, looking at important events but also at the accumulation of dates and events. It is also thematic, exploring the new research and thinking internationally about regional differences and the global scale. It also takes into account the diversity of different visions of history. It is neither Franco nor European nor American centered. The goal is to show what history can say about the present. The lecture shares, without scientific jargon or superfluous details, the synthesis of a plethoric bibliography.

Course Description
Political polls have emerged as an essential element of political and electoral life because they are frequently consulted by citizens, commented on by journalists, and dissected by politicians. In their various forms, they constitute an important cog in the public debate, to which actors and observers of the political game refer. The course is structured in three parts: the historical development of political surveys, their technical realization, and their relationship to democracy. Political life is thus approached from various angles: historical, electoral, media, sociological, and psychological. An important place is left to analyze the political and electoral news (campaign for the European elections) in France and abroad through surveys.
