This course explores works of the Baroque period from the 17th century to the end of the 18th century including architecture, sculpture, and painting.

This course covers materials, technique, resources, and strategies in sculptural production. It also considers issues of structure and artistic object in the creative process, as well as research processes and overall creativity in artistic production.

This course explores key social science concepts like integration and cooperation of particular relevance for analyzing specific development problems in Latin America and Iberia such as poverty, inequality, unemployment, rural stagnation, and regional relations among different Latin American countries, integration politics, panamericanism, and globalization.

This course focuses on common and useful Spanish vocabulary to follow the development of classes at Complutense. It discusses uncertainties students have about Spanish with an emphasis on achieving a better degree of fluency in the spoken language and the ability to produce texts written in Spanish.

This course discusses parametric estimation and the different techniques of parametric estimation. The course is divided into two units. The first unit covers point estimation including: properties of estimators; estimation of the mean, variance, and proportion of a population; procedures for the construction of estimators. The second unit covers interval estimation including: confidence intervals; pivotal quantity method.

This class expands on the sociological and social psychology studies of emotion and thought at an international level. It discusses linguistic expression, differences in forms of communication, ethic compromising, critical thinking, and general analysis of the principal concepts of society.

This course examines contemporary Spanish reality and the different cultural forms and manifestations within Spain. Site visits to various places in Madrid provide an immersive experience and academic and social context. This course also reinforces Spanish language learning through oral and written communication skills.

This course discusses the dynamics of cities and urban planning and the basic regulatory and instrumental framework for urban space planning.
