Course Description
This course provides students with the basics about the global climate system. It covers climate variations and climatological processes and how those affects the global and local climate. During the course students consider the global and regional climatology and what causes the largescale differences in the energy budget. Topics covered include: are the different components of the global climate system; the physical characteristics and the chemical composition of the atmosphere; the global and regional energy flows in the atmosphere. Students also learn about the general atmospheric circulation and the coupling between oceans and atmosphere with its role in the energy exchange. After this course students have an improved understanding of: the components affecting the energy balance of the atmosphere on different spatial- and time scales the relationship between the composition of weather-systems and their variations; natural and antropogenetic causes to variation in weather; basic climatological analysis methods; how to adapt and evaluate climate analysis to environmental and social applications.

Course Description
The course includes parts of 3D product modelling by surface modelling, scanning, product simulation, modelling and Rapid Prototyping in 3D. The computerized surface modelling (Rhino och Maxwell studio) deals with the following areas: introduction to 3D modelling; interface basics, primitive objects (spheres, cubes, cylinders); transformation, mirror, and duplicate objects; NURBS-curves (CVs, Edit points and Key-points curves); turn curves into different types of NURBS surfaces (skinned, revolved, planar, extruded and swept); edit CV-curves; working with layers and use layer symmetry; trim excess of surfaces; create advanced double bent surfaces. Other areas covered in the course are: create STL (Sterio Lithography) file; export model to CAD-program; rendering basics using different types of renders including light setup, shaders and textures; animation basics. The computerized product simulation deals with the following areas: introduction to Virtual Reality; interface basics; importing 3D objects; associate behaviors with the objects; create interactivity; the 3D scanning part includes some basic 3D scanning methods; scanning objects and exporting the data to a computer program. The rapid prototyping part of the course includes creating a 3D print from a computerized product model to a physical object.

Course Description
This module focuses on the contemporary urban geographical debate and deals with phenomena such as gentrification, segregation, social polarization and social exclusion. These processes have occurred over a long time, but their nature has changed in connection with the ongoing de-industrialization, the growth of a service economy, and increased international migration. With a background knowledge of these developments students are trained to review the contemporary debate in urban geographical issues. The literature consists partly of classical texts within the urban geographical field and partly of central present-day texts.

Course Description
This course introduces the student to central traditions in organization and leadership studies. The aim is to equip students with a basic set of concepts and perspectives needed to analyze and understand organizational phenomena and make sense of challenges managers and workers might face. The following theoretical themes (among others) are included: motivation, culture, control, leadership, and organizational design. Furthermore, the course seeks to develop analytical (problem-identifying) and decision making (problem-solving) skills required to manage complex situations, as well as train students in argumentation and presentation skills. An important pedagogical idea of the course is to make sure that theories are applied to organizational practice. Case studies are the main tool to accomplish this. In order to address the complexity of organizational issues, various perspectives are adopted when organizational practice is discussed, and emphasis is put on reflective usage of theories.

Course Description
The course begins with an examination of the development of Swedish labor policy in general during the post war period. Particular attention is laid on the fundamental changes that have taken place from the 1970s onwards in the functioning of the labor market, the welfare system, and the economy as a whole. The change process is examined from the point of view of those most affected by it–immigrants, women and young people. In addition to discussing the Swedish phenomenon, the problem and the potential solutions are also compared and contrasted with similar situations in other European and North American countries.
