This course focuses on the development and management of theme parks. It enables students to participate in the design and management of theme parks through classroom reports, and to cultivate their innovation and problem analysis ability. Course Description
This course examines the spirit of Chinese law from a historical perspective, with a particular emphasis on its political context. The course explores the early transition of Chinese politics and law by the second century B.C.E. (including doctrines of Confucian and legalist schools), development and spirits of imperial codes, mechanism of judicial administration in criminal and civil justice, local mediation, and family law.

Course Description
This course explores the ethical challenges facing businesses today. It focuses on the concepts, theories, and frameworks that help identify, analyze, and make moral decisions at the individual, organizational, and societal levels. Topics include moral reasoning, ethical principles in business, corporate social responsibility, and a wide range of ethical issues in business, as well as the challenges and opportunities of addressing these ethical issues. This course offers a mixture of lectures and case discussions. The case discussions provide a further opportunity to clarify, integrate, and apply the theoretical concepts from the lectures to a range of real-world business cases.

Course Description
This course offers a historical survey over the colonial, romantic, naturalistic, modern and contemporary period of American literary development. The chronological introduction of important literary movements, representative writers and canonical works exposes the American social and cultural dynamics. Selected but close readings of some writings are to be adopted as a textual approach to enhance students' appreciative and critical ability. A 5-page term paper is required at the end of the semester.

Course Description

This course adheres to the concept of general education, based on the main body of film art, and also on the appeal of film works and the unique analysis of artistic styles. It uses film case analysis as a method and audiovisual language as a basic tool. The audio-visual language and narrative techniques of movies are studied for their artistic and ideological nature, so that students can understand the rules of film art creation, and master the great aesthetic value of the film (ideological and emotional), so as to cultivate their thinking ability and creative ability.

This course will introduce


1) Diplomatic system, including the historic evolution of diplomacy, diplomatic manners and principles, and diplomatic bureaucracy and staff establishment.

2) Content and process of bilateral diplomacy, including functions of bilateral diplomacy, diplomatic negotiations and diplomatic treaties as results.

3) The trend of contemporary diplomacy, including summit diplomacy, multilateral diplomacy, mediation, public diplomacy, and collaborative diplomacy.
