Course Description
This course is an introduction to the study of French language and culture. Students who have little or no previous study of French become independent language learners, and develop awareness of French-speaking cultures throughout the world. While developing mastery of the basic grammatical structures of the language, students interpret and discuss authentic documents in French, including short written texts, songs, and advertisements.
