Course Description
The course examines identification of problems related to fluid mechanics and engineering work. It presents the concepts necessary to explain and model fluid performance; methods and techniques for quantitative analysis of fluid performance. Prerequisites for the course are Differential Equations (MAT1640), Thermodynamics (FIS1523), and Calculus III (MAT1630).

Course Description
This course explores some of the most relevant scientific contributions regarding the nature of moral judgments and examines in particular, the origin, function, and psychological framework of moral judgments. Topics include: the evolution of the human ability to judge morally; psychological underpinnings of moral judgments; cultural variability and effect on the ability to make moral judgments or reasonings; the notion of moral and legal responsibility; the existence of a "moral character"; responses to disagreement and apparent moral relativism; the objectivity of moral principles.

Course Description

This intensive Spanish language and culture course is specifically geared for heritage language-learners who have bilingual communicative skills. It refines existing oral and written skills, while improving formal (linguistic/pragmatic) language proficiency. The course also takes advantage of students' immersion in Spanish life to incorporate intercultural learning and provide further context to the grammatical, lexical, and cultural content of the course.
