Housing

You will live in modern, self-catering apartments in a residential complex in the Neapolis neighborhood. The area is rich in local history, as it is one of the original settlements founded by the Greeks over 2,500 years ago. You will see traces of the glorious past everywhere, especially in the Neapolis Archaeological Park and the Catacombs of St. John. The neighborhood is a short walk to the island of Ortigia, the waterfront, and several small beaches favored by locals and tourists year-round.

The apartments have comfortable, furnished, shared bedrooms or students may choose optional single bedrooms for an additional cost. Each apartment includes a cleaning service and residential assistance. In each apartment, students share a spacious living and study area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom. The apartments are close to the main city attractions and well-connected to other areas with shops, supermarkets, and restaurants.

COMMUTE

The apartments are a convenient 25-minute walk to where you'll study. It's part of Italian culture to walk everywhere, and Syracuse is designed as a walkable city. On your commute to class, you pass lively pedestrian areas and piazzas best enjoyed on foot. Public transport via bus is generally used to visit other districts of the city or the surrounding areas.
