Housing
Housing on the program is arranged for you before arrival and based on your preferences. You'll stay in homestays or shared apartments/residence halls in one of Sydney’s residential neighborhoods that is within convenient distance to restaurants, supermarkets, and public transport options.
Apartment
You may be housed in an apartment or residence hall located within 45 minutes of the CIEE Sydney office and downtown. Each apartment is shared (you'll have at least one roommate) and is easily reached by public transportation. The apartments have shared common spaces, including living rooms, bathrooms, and well-equipped kitchens. Coin-operated shared laundry facilities are available on-site.

Commute
The apartments are located within the residential neighborhoods and easily reached by public transportation (less than one hour from CIEE Sydney). The length of your daily commute depends on where your internship is located.
Homestay
Homestays provide the opportunity to fully immerse in Australia's diverse culture and gain insight into everyday life. Sydney is a multicultural city, and you'll stay with families from various nationalities, including Australians. Homestays are located within a 45-minute to 1-hour public transport commute from CIEE Sydney. The homestay experience includes breakfast and dinner from Monday to Friday.
