Housing
On this program you may stay in either a dorm or apartment throughout the city. After you are accepted into the program, you’ll receive housing information and instructions on how to apply for housing through an online booking system.
Apartment
The apartments consist of rooms in a residential building where local Danish citizens may also live. There are two providers for shared apartments: one is in Amagar and the other is in eastern Copenhagen. The location of each building gives you the opportunity to live in a relatively quiet area while still being close to the campus and the rest of Copenhagen.

Commute
The studio apartments are located near the campus in Amager. The bike ride from Basecamp to South Campus is 15 minutes. The bike ride from Basecamp to North Campus is 10 minutes. Walking is 15-20 minutes. The shared apartments are located a 5-minute bike ride or a 10- to 15-minute walk to the Norre campus. To reach the other campuses, you can expect to spend between 15 and 30 minutes commuting by public transportation.
Dorm
Each floor in the dorms is shared by 10-15 students and offers a communal kitchen. Students living in the dorms often organize dinner clubs, taking turns buying ingredients and preparing meals. It’s a great way to meet other students in your hall and share cultures through food.

Commute
In Copenhagen, nearly everyone—even top politicians—rides a bike. Bike lanes are everywhere and traffic lights are coordinated in favor of cyclists. Motorists and public buses will idle while cyclists breeze through the city. Since the university is spread across the city, it’s easy to access by bike. Rental bikes are also widely available if you don’t want to purchase your own.
