Housing
You will choose between living with a Belgian host in a homestay or a private apartment in the city of Brussels. If you choose a homestay, your homestay host will be selected for you based on the information you provide prior to arrival. If you prefer an apartment, you’ll be given a list of potential options and make the arrangements yourself.
Homestay
The Brussels homestay experience feels like renting a room in a family’s home. Some homes will have a private entrance for you, all have full kitchen access and the freedom to come and go on your own time. Your work as a student-intern will keep you quite busy, so it’s likely you will have only one or two evening meals per week with your host.
