You'll select two courses in area studies and participate in site visits to iconic historical and cultural sites and landmarks as part of the cultural immersion in Jerusalem.

To successfully complete this program:
- Take a full-time course of study: Two courses for a total of 9-10.5 quarter/6-7 semester UC units.

Academic culture
Professors at Rothberg International School are experts in their fields and provide a special Israeli and Middle Eastern experience by offering unique perspectives on the subjects they teach. Courses span four weeks and are arranged in three-hour blocks in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Course components typically include lectures and discussions, in-class activities, study tours, and local field trips. Students who succeed on this program are highly independent and responsible, and they thoroughly prepare required readings and assignments for each class. Your grade may be based on one final exam or paper.
