Course Description
This course provides a critical analysis of women's participation in the revolutionary movements of the southern cone. It examines the contributions of women in these different movements and the changes that they wanted for their respective societies. Specifically, the course looks at the contributions of militant women in the movements and revolutionary parties in Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay between the 1960s and the 1990s.

Course Description
This course provides a study on sexuality and human affectivity and considers the correlation of biological, psychological and cultural dimensions in the formation of humans and the relationships they develop. Topics covered include sexuality throughout the life cycle; concepts and characteristics of sex, gender, gender identity, and sexual role in shaping the affective and sexual experience; phases of normal sexual behavior and the main dysfunctions that can occur; current legislation related to sexuality.

Course Description
This course examines present developments in the discipline of urban ecology and investigates the transformative role that planning and design of environments can have. It takes into account the quality of air, water, and soil modified by human action, as well as the economic, social, and cultural contexts that affect the flow of benefits derived from natural components of the city. Within the context of climate change, the class discusses the pertinence of landscape design under conditions of water restrictions and the rise of temperatures.

This is the first of two courses on development psychology. It looks at basic psychological processes from an evolutionary perspective and provides a comprehensive overview of major developmental milestones, from birth to school age. It examines the main approaches and theories of human development, reviewing, in particular, classic texts in the field. Topics include basic questions and problems in developmental psychology, classical and contemporary theories of psychological development, and infant psychological development.
