The course explores the international frontiers of international trade studies at the enterprise level, Topics include the development of international trade theory and empirical research from the perspective of enterprises; individual enterprises in a dynamic open economy; the motivations, mechanisms, and influences of internationalization choices (trade, investment, outsourcing, etc.) when pursuing their own development and maximizing profits.

This course explores the role of parents and parenting strategies in children's growth and development. Students learn the basic theory of child development and how specific parenting methods and practices affect children's cognitive, social, and emotional development at all stages of growth. Students also learn about parental roles, parenting concepts and behaviors in different social and cultural backgrounds, and discuss the social and cultural factors affecting contemporary families and parenting. The course introduces basic child rearing and parenting skills, and provides the basis for students who are interested in working with teenagers and children in the future. Topics include: 1) theoretical basis of parenting research and practice; 2) changes in parenting styles and strategies at various stages of development from early childhood to adolescence; 3) cross-cultural comparison and interdisciplinary discussion of parental roles, parenting concepts/styles, and parent-child relationship

The topics covered in this course include introduction of R, probability, independence, conditional probability, Bayes' formula, random variables and distributions, moment generating functions, probability inequalities, law of large numbers, central limit theorem, point estimation, maximum likelihood estimation, Fisher's information, asymptotic efficiency, Hypothesis testing, Wald's test, t-tests, likelihood ratio tests, permutation tests, confidence intervals.

This general education course explores the formation, development, and change of the East Asian world. It also analyzes its common characteristics and cultural basis.

The course interprets 15 American and British suspense short stories, analyzing the literary technique, theories, thematic construction, and especially psychological construction within, in order to nurture the literary appreciation of western literary works. The course also discusses the difference between literary techniques and thematic concerns between the short story and film.

This course examines hotel management and its future development, products and services of hotel, hotel brands and enterprise management, different branches of a hotel and each's responsibility. The assignment helps the students to apply the theories learned in class in a real case by interviewing the managers.

This course covers the basic theory of psychological test. Students develop and evaluate psychological scales from a scientific perspective and interpret common psychological scales. The course content can be divided into three parts. The first covers the basic theory of psychological tests, introduction of standard scores, norm theory, reliability and validity test, and item analysis. The second part covers intelligence theory and its commonly used scale. The third part covers personality theory and common scale.

The course selects controversial topics in education, economy, environment, science and technology, society, international politics, etc. and covers logical fallacies, effective English expression and communication skills, distinction of facts and opinions, analyzing and evaluating arguments, in order to improve English oral expression skills, speculative skills, academic research skills, and cross-cultural communication skills.
