This course mainly uses the archaeological materials to introduce the history of science and technology of ancient China, to help students improve their interdisciplinary research abilities.

In addition to introducing the history and development of the Linux operating system, this course will also introduce the use of mainstream open-source software, so that students can proficiently use Linux and integrate it into their daily work and study. Through this course, students can not only master the use of the Linux operating system but also understand its underlying culture, learn about the open-source movement community, and gain a deeper understanding of computer systems themselves.

The goal of this course is to familiarize students with the key analytical methods and leading applications in the field of game theory. At the end of the course, students should be able to identify and formalize problems that involve strategic interaction between different economic agents, and to analyze them with game-theoretical thinking.

This course is designed to reflect upon the relationship between humankind and nature through the study of selected literary works ancient and modern, mostly drawn from the English, French, and American traditions. 

This course is intended to give a greater understanding of monetary and financial policy within the global economy, with a focus on historical policy developments, current debates, and the institutional structure of central banks and regulatory agencies in the United States, Japan, China, and Europe. After building an analytical toolset, we will look at how these institutions dealt with significant economic problems in a series of case studies like the Great Recession in the United States, the sovereign debt crisis in Europe, the stock market collapse in Japan, and the challenges of property markets and local debt in China. We will use these case studies to better understand topics such as unconventional monetary policy, problems of debt, and reform of the global financial system. We will finally examine contemporary debates around inflation policy, international spillovers, and policy coordination.

Through software-assisted learning, you will be able to intuitively understand fundamental mathematical concepts such as linear algebra, and delve into advanced topics like the PageRank algorithm, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), function fitting, numerical integration, solution of ordinary differential equations, and machine learning methods.

This course introduces the history, concepts, and principals of branding, and the basic methods of building and communicating a brand. Topics include brand creation and development, research methods, brand recognition, brand strategy, brand extensions, brand equity, and brand communication. 

Shape is a sport that forms a symmetrical and graceful posture through the practice of bare-handed limbs. It is a form of exercise based on aerobic exercise, which aims at strengthening physique, correcting posture and cultivating self-confidence. This course focuses on the basic movements of the body and the correct exercise methods, including pole exercises and physical fitness exercises. Under the accompaniment of music, show yourself through body movements and cultivate elegant manners and manners.

This course provides a rigorous treatment of the core concepts and skills in security investments and portfolio management. The main focus is on the trade-off between risk and return, which will be analyzed in a mean variance framework. Along this line, two main theories of asset pricing will be explained: the Capital Asset Pricing Model and Arbitrage Pricing Theory. The empirical tests of these two theories will also be discussed.

Political Psychology is an interdisciplinary academic field, dedicated to understanding political opinions and behaviors from a psychological perspective. Throughout the course, we will assess important theories and empirical studies regarding attitude formation and measurement, rationality and reasoning, information processing and cognition, affect and emotion, framing and communication, moral values, ideology, and cultural norms, group dynamics/interactions and social identities, personality, socialization, repression&violence, etc. and their demonstrations in various aspects of politics.
