Course Description

This course focuses on creative stimulation processes and techniques, scene design, and object and interface design. It discusses the tools and skills in using applications related to drawing, creativity, perspective, color, chiaroscuro, and teamwork for application in the professional field of concept art. Course Description

This course offers an introduction to the literature of the "Silver Age" of Spanish culture and the literary production within the European socio-historical and artistic framework. It explores the general processes of creation, reception, and dissemination of literary production during the Silver Age. This course also discusses the main literary genres of this period including authors and their works. 

Pre-requisites: It is recommended that exchange students taking the course who are not native or bilingual speakers have at least a C1 level of Spanish.

Course Description

This course provides a study of the concepts and methods of analysis of pragmatic theories applied to the Spanish language. It examines the relationship between the use of language and human interactions. Topics include: the place of pragmatics within linguistic disciplines; linguistic meaning and pragmatic interpretation; implication, presupposition, and implicatures; speech, conversational maxims, and the principle of relevance; speech and sentence modalities; speech and intersentential relations; sentence adverbials; reference mechanisms in Spanish; theories of linguistic politeness; pragmatic approaches to metaphor and irony.
