This course offers a study of digital business and the emergence of the digital economy. It explores the use of technology to generate new business, the impact of digital business models on existing market sectors, as well as the growth of new digital business sectors.

This course provides a study of the principal characteristics of present-day international society and the effects of its structure and inner tensions in the creation and application of public international law. It critically examines the foundations of the international legal system, as well as the interactions between the international and national regulatory spheres and the legal consequences of including public international law in the Spanish legal system.

This course is a study of the macroeconomic functions of global finance and the international economy. Topics include: national income and balance of payments; exchange rates and the foreign exchange market; money and interest rates; international monetary systems; financial globalization; and the growth, crisis, and reform of developing economies.

This course offers a study of elementary Spanish equivalent to the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Students who successfully complete the course can deal with simple, straightforward information and can express themselves in a limited manner in most common situations in daily life.

This course offers a panoramic overview of American cinema from the 1970s to the present including different historical periods, genres, movements, styles, and principal auteurs. 

This course focuses on developmental psychology including affective, emotional, and social development throughout the life cycle.  

This course offers an introduction to documentary filmmaking with a focus on the renewal of the Spanish and Catalan film scene of the last 15 years. It presents examples of documentary works to understand the genre. During the workshop, students complete their own documentary project.
