Course Description

Through the analysis of specific cases of communication in different situations and the systematic study of relevant theories, students can understand the basic theories of communication and master the methods to improve communication efficiency in different situations. Through a series of case discussions, students are trained to analyze and solve interpersonal conflict, team management, negotiation, cross-cultural adaptation and other related problems in practice by combining relevant theories. At the same time, through actual research and reporting, students will be trained to discover, analyze and solve problems, as well as expression and teamwork skills.

In today's society, with the process of globalization and informatization, people are more and more exposed to individuals and groups with different backgrounds. How to communicate with different individuals? How to improve the efficiency of the team? How do you adapt to a new environment?

Through the study of this course, students will be able to better understand and master the theory and skills of communication, management and negotiation in life and work.

Course Description

This lecture aims to introduce knowledge and psychological approaches regarding the diagnosis, status, and causes of mental disorders (e.g., depression, anxiety, etc.). This course ultimately provides a kind of preventive knowledge about one's mental health and is expected to play a positive role in interpersonal relationships in social life. This course is to understand the symptoms, causes, and treatments of various mental disorders; to promote mental health literacy; and o improve psychological adaptation.

Course Description

This class will introduce Mindfulness Intervention for Emotional Distress. It includes concept of Mindfulness and evidence for Mindfulness intervention. It will teach the common practice of mindfulness, including body scan, mindfulness siting, body stretch, mindful walking, mindful eating. Students need complete 15 minutes mindfulness practice daily, and other relative tasks. The object of this class: through study and practice, students will learn mindfulness practice, the strategies of reduction of emotional distress.

Course Description

The course explores how frameworks, theories, and models from a number of different areas, including cognitive neuropsychology and psycholinguistics, inform clinical assessment and remediation of aphasia. Findings from basic science, neurophysiology, imaging, and speech and language therapy are linked to increase our knowledge of the effects of the rehabilitative interventions at the level of the brain as well as their functional impact. Both emerging and established rehabilitative approaches are highlighted.

Course Description

Psycholinguistics tests different theories of the production, perception, and acquisition of language by using various methods, such as reaction time experiments, brain activity measurements, misarticulation analysis, and corpus analysis. This course provides an introduction to these theories and methods. Furthermore, the factors that affect our perception, production, and acquisition of a first or second language are studied. The course introduces the principles for conducting and assessing a psycholinguistic experiment and includes an exercise in conducting such an experiment.
