Housing

Housing in Bologna is as immersive as the instruction. The study center and university housing office will help you choose an apartment from the private rental market. Research begins well before departure to ensure you have a place to stay upon arrival. Most UCEAP students live with multiple roommates, which is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded students in Italy and around the world.

Apartment

To find your perfect apartment in Bologna, you’ll receive directions from study center abroad. Many UC students who are ending their time abroad share apartment details so you’ll have insider knowledge, including what’s near the apartment, whether the neighborhood is quiet or active at all hours, how long it takes to get to the university, and plenty more. You’ll be able to communicate directly with current students abroad and request photos from the local Italian landlords.
