About The Program

Become fully integrated into the academic and social life on campus while taking courses in virtually any subject at the University of New South Wales. In addition to offerings in your major, you’ll find especially enriching courses in biomedical sciences, environmental sustainability, and robotics and technology. It’s also a great place to prepare for a career in government or social or health policy. Australia’s largest city, Sydney is reminiscent of San Francisco, with ocean coastline, a dramatic bay, and hilly streets. Some of the finest surf and beaches in Australia are in or near Sydney, as is Sydney Harbour, with its famous Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

Where you'll study

The University of New South Wales (UNSW) offers a unique focus in the scientific, technology, and professional disciplines. UNSW has a proud tradition of sustained innovation and research in areas critical to the world’s future: renewable energy, life-saving medical treatments, and better health. As the number one institution attended by Australian startup founders, this is the university to attend if you plan to study business. The main campus is located in the Sydney suburb of Kensington, where there’s a strong sense of community. UNSW offers a variety of opportunities to volunteer, either on campus or with an external nonprofit organization. In addition, some 200 student clubs and societies make for a great way to meet new friends who share your interests.
