Housing
UNSW offers affordable and convenient student housing on and off campus. You have the freedom to choose on-campus dorms and apartments or off-campus homestays, share houses, and hostels. To get a jumpstart on the market and reserve the best housing for you, you’ll apply for housing well in advance of departure with the help of a campus housing service.
Apartment
In addition to apartments, about half of all exchange students opt to live in share houses surrounding the university. Similar to a shared apartment, a share house is an independent living space where you may share bathrooms or kitchens, for example. This is a common living arrangement for young working professionals in Australia.
