This Statement explains what a cookie is and how UCEAP uses cookies on our primary websites. Please note that other departments within UCEAP managing their own websites may utilize additional cookies specific to those websites.

What are Cookies?

To make this site work properly, we sometimes place small data files called cookies on your device. A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another. Some cookies are essential to the website, while others you can opt out of or block. Opting out or blocking some cookies may affect the functionality of the website.

How do we use Cookies?

UCEAP uses cookies to remember users' actions and preferences, to identify the user, to collect statistical data, to improve website performance, and to enhance the users' experience.

Please note: The cookies we use will never be used for a purpose other than those stated.
