Housing

In Ghana you will get placed in a student dormitory. The student dorms are an important part of the Ghanaian student experience. On move-in day, you are not just moving into a building; you are joining a community where it is very easy to make friends. You can participate in hall pride events, attend hall fashion shows, and join athletic teams to compete with students in other halls.

Dorm

Based on information you provide before arrival, you will stay in one of two buildings. Although your roommate will be a UC student, international and local Ghanaian students also live in the halls. Volta Hall is an all-female building and Legon Hall houses male and female students. The bathrooms in Legon Hall are large and open with minimal privacy. Both halls are tended by security guards and porters.
