It covers traditional Thai medicine and health care, and its integration into the country's health care system. It provides a basic knowledge in human anatomy and physiology necessary for Thai massage, its history, benefits and limitations, and steps, postures and the etiquette of Thai massage. This advanced seminar course explores the problems associated with global political economy. The first half of the course provides students with the analytical and conceptual tools to better understand the complexities of international politics and economics. The second half is issue-based, focusing on major developments in contemporary international and economic relations and how states manage these issues. The course consists largely of student research, consultation, group presentation, and peer review/comments. Student should expect to complete a 3500 word case study and participate in group presentations.
