This course provides further study of the phonological, morphosyntactic and discursive aspects of French. Completion of the course provides the equivalent of level B1.1 and B1.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

It discusses normal and pathological human diversity, the advantages and disadvantages of diagnostic systems, the main clinical manifestations of psychopathology, and main areas of action of the clinical psychologist. This course explores perspectives on gender found in literature across Europe. The course begins with an introduction to the development of the field of gender studies including concepts such as suffrage, second and third wave feminism, and gynocritics. It includes three primary themes: representations of the body and sexuality; gender and discrimination based on age, disability, and speciesism; gender and the personal and/or political.
