This course develops instrumental skills in the Russian language up to the A2 level. It focuses on the basics of applied Russian grammar especially related to verbs, describing the phonetic, grammatical, and lexical structures of Russian, and understanding and producing oral and written work. The course covers morphology and syntax; lexical topics; and vocabulary.

This course offers a study of the basic and advanced guidelines in academia and the pharmaceutical sector on the selection of drug targets, the design of new drugs, and the procedures for real-life drug discovery settings.

This course explores the evolution of humanized spaces and their depiction in cartography across history and delves into the intricate relationships between populations and social landscapes. It examines the dynamics of urban spaces, from processes to structures, and the diversity of rural environments. Additionally, this course analyzes how economic activities shape territories and their implications on spatial organization. 

The course critically examines the construction of the 'development' concept, tracing its ties to capitalism and its roots in colonialism and mercantilism. It questions the outcomes, focusing on the reproduction of social inequalities and environmental consequences globally, nationally, and locally. Divided into parts, it covers critical development theories, explores development as a "globalization project," and reviews systematic alternatives and critiques of the sustainable project. Key concepts are illustrated through case studies and an Approach Based on Projects (ABP).

This course offers an in-depth introduction to the complex historical and conceptual reality of the central role played by Constitutions in the legal systems of present day democratic societies. It explores the evolution of constitutions and constitutional thought from their medieval origin to the gradual building and consolidation of the essential defining notions and principles of the new model of the State established as a result of liberal revolutions, such as sovereignty, legality, separation of powers, or recognition and protection of individual and collective rights. This course analyzes and compares important historical constitutional texts, including the current Spanish Constitution, and the particular political, economic and social circumstances at the moment of their writing.

This course offers an introduction to the tools for the estimation, detection, and prediction of discrete-time random signals. It is divided into three units: stochastic processes; estimation theory; detection theory.

This course explores Spanish cinema from its origins to the present day including viewings of some of the most representative films of each era.

This course focuses on practicing, expanding, and improving Spanish language oral production in everyday contexts as well as improving pronunciation of Spanish through listening and articulation practice.
