The course is project-driven for students interested in creative marketing strategies, and content production with a particular focus on filmmaking. It has a special focus on how to use creative marketing for good to foster sustainable development, environmental conservation and social change.

This course examines the international environment for business and offers theoretical and practical knowledge in implementing international strategies, marketing for successfully penetrating international markets, managing international firms, and potential risks for operating internationally. The content of this course is divided into four parts. The first part covers the international business environment that firms are currently facing, and the opportunity that a firm can have while it expands internationally. The second part offers a basic but systematic knowledge about different modes of international business operations (e.g. export, international marketing, license trade, strategic alliance, direct investment), and the advantages and disadvantages of each mode. The third part focuses on the management of major functions of business operation in an international context, such as how to design an organizational structure for international business; how to manage global production, logistics, and supply chain; and how to manage corporate finance, and international human resources. The last part is dedicated to the influential factors of international business operations: politics and culture, two major factors that impact on and bring potential risks to international business operation.

Topics include the different customer segments, methodology to select strategic target market(s), design of brand positioning and identity, brand strategy and marketing programs, growing and sustaining brand equity, brand audit, and brand health check.

This course introduces capital markets, namely Foreign Exchange Market, Bond Market, Equity Market, and Derivatives through case studies. The class will monitor current events & main indexes (FX, Stock prices, and Interest Rates) to apply to the material under study. This is a prerequisite course to Corporate Finance and Valuation.

Students need to be prepared for a world that has an unprecedented rate of change, specially, in countries such as China, with unparalleled levels of development, competition and digitalization. Traditional pedagogy is focused to create logical, sequential learning that is purposefully aimed at building competency or perspectives. Simulating experiences and a fully experiential entrepreneurship allows this course to complement those skills mentioned. This course applies design thinking, creative thinking, story telling and other entrepreneurial development creative theories.
Entrepreneurial development is aimed at providing students a set of tools and methodologies that will help them identify and develop business opportunities.
COURSE DETAIL
This is a special studies course involving an internship with a corporate, public, governmental, or private organization, arranged with the Study Center Director or Liaison Officer. Specific internships vary each term and are described on a special study project form for each student. A substantial paper or series of reports is required. Units vary depending on the contact hours and method of assessment. Graded pass/no pass only.

2) Topics related to climate change risk and opportunities exposures;
3) Topics related to the issues of pollution on investor behavioral bias, and on corporate policies;
4) Topics related to climate change risk on government policies;
5) Topics related to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policies;
6) Topics related to ESG equity;
7) Topics related to ESG lending, and
8) Other upcoming trending topics, including water quality.
