This course offers a study of elementary Spanish equivalent to the A1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Students who successfully complete the course can understand and use familiar, everyday expressions and very basic phrases for highly specific objectives. 

This course offers a study of Spanish spoken in everyday situations. Topics include: shopping; Spanish and Latin American gastronomy; popular festivals and holidays; Barcelona neighborhoods; public transport; activities on a night out; activities for a weekend in Barcelona; colloquial expressions.

This course studies linguistic variation in the Spanish language, specifically, diachronic and synchronic differences in the Spanish of Spain. It also examines linguistic geography and provides an analysis of dialectal variations of Spanish both inside and outside of Spain. Topics covered include: concepts of language and dialect; dialectology and aural geography, regional atlases, isoglosses; linguistic variation in Spanish, Hispanic languages and dialects, Spanish in America, Africa, and Asia, Judeo-Spanish; history and dialectal divisions dialect spoken in Spain, principle phonetic, morphosyntactic and lexical traits of each.

This course offers 45 hours of advanced study of Spanish language for students at a C1.1 to C2 level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

This oral skills course corresponds to levels A2-B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference. It focuses on improving communicative competition and expanding lexical knowledge and discursive strategies that allow students to interact successfully in Spanish daily life.

In this course, students study complex factual and/or literary texts; learn to structure and present an argument, description, or narrative logically and clearly in Spanish; study complex language structures including specialized terms; and demonstrate in Spanish their knowledge of a special subject linked to their chosen field of study. This can include a case study, report, research project, or a creative project, such as, fiction writing, documentary, or web profile for professional purposes. 

This oral skills course corresponds to levels A1-A2.1 of the Common European Framework of Reference. It focuses on lexical knowledge and discursive strategies that allow students to interact in certain everyday situations. 

This courses focuses on strategies for interpreting and constructing written texts of different types and genres, with an emphasis on the processes of reading comprehension, planning, writing, and revision. It is designed for international students at the intermediate level. 

This course offers an intermediate study of Spanish language for students at a B1.1 to B2.2 level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
