Where you'll study
Established as a school of western learning, Keio University is the oldest institution of higher education in Japan and the first university in Japan to send students abroad. The university offers several degree programs taught in English. Putting a high value on research across humanities and sciences, Keio University has over 30 research centers and one of Japan's largest collections of books at its libraries. This small, private university now operates more than 10 campuses and has a network of affiliated schools extending beyond the university campuses. You'll likely take classes at the Mita campus in the center of Tokyo. The campus is home to four faculties: Letters, Economics, Law (including political science), and Business and Commerce. More than 400 student clubs, campus festivals, and sporting events will keep you busy outside of the classroom.
