The contents of this course are composed of six parts: introduction, life risk and life risk management, overview of life and health insurance, types analysis of life insurance, types analysis of health insurance and types analysis of accident injury insurance. Among them, analysis of various types of life insurance and analysis of various types of health insurance are the key points of teaching. In the teaching process the instructor constantly combines theory with practice, not only emphasizing the combination of a range of the theory and practice of life insurance, with the international practice and Chinese reality, integrating insurance innovation into insurance basic theory, knowledge and skills, but also taking on the latest research results and application techniques of domestic and foreign insurance academic and practice and fully considering the current development of China's life insurance industry, with the aim of providing intellectual support for the high-quality development of China's insurance industry and the building of an insurance powerhouse.

This course is an upper intermediate reading and writing course in Putonghua, focusing on acquiring more intermediate level vocabulary and grammar. In addition to daily situations and semi-formal situations, students will also be introduced to various aspects of Chinese culture. Appropriateness in application is emphasized. 

The Spring and Autumn Annals is one of the five Classics of Confucianism, and its Ram, Guliang and Zuo Zhuan each have a place in the Thirteen Classics of Confucianism.The "Gong Yang Biography" elaborated on the general meaning of small words, especially the important origin of Confucian political philosophy and historical philosophy, which played an important role in the political life of ancient China.On the other hand, the Biography of Zuo, with its detailed records and colorful prose, is the most important book for the study of the historical facts of the Spring and Autumn Period, as well as one of the best historical and literary works in Chinese history: The Biography of Guliang, with its pure moral principle, is also an important part of Confucianism.This course plans to take the righteous example of "Gong Yang Biography" as a compendium and read the three biographies in pairs. Through the teaching method of combining the classics in history and the classics with history, students will be brought into the doctrinal world of "Spring and Autumn Annals".

First, through the reading and learning of the Spring and Autumn Annals and its three biographies, students can have a preliminary understanding of the text features of the three biographies.Secondly, on the premise of having a general understanding of the historical facts of the Spring and Autumn Period, the students can have a better understanding of the Chinese historical tradition originated in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Confucian ethical thoughts, political philosophy and historical philosophy expounded by the three biographies.

This course aims at guiding students to a professional status as legal personnel. The course starts from training professional reasoning, students will learn and comprehend foundation knowledge of laws, including basic concepts, methodologies, and principles that serve as foundation for the entire legal studies system. The course cultivates students’ abilities to apply the theories, methodologies, and thinking of jurisprudence to identify, analyze, and solve the actual problems. Students will establish basic legal thinking skills, literacy, and sprits and beliefs as legal personnel. Teaching will emphasize on developing students’ subject consciousness, and guide them to combine in-class and extracurricular understandings to actively and independently read and think.

The course "Psychology of Happiness" starts from the question “what happiness is,” and based on the relevant theories and research results of positive psychology on happiness, combing with practical cases, analyzes and explains the factors that affect happiness. Through real case analysis, this course guides students to view and deal with problems from a positive perspective. At the same time, this course introduces and expounds that "mindfulness" can effectively help people to improve their sense of happiness, and is supplemented by the preliminary study of meditation (mindfulness). It is hoped that students can strengthen their hearts, maintain positive knowledge and positive emotions about external things, and improve their subjective well-being by learning the practical methods of regulating emotions.

This course provides a systematic introduction to the key concepts and theoretical frameworks of tourism psychology. It focuses on the psychological and behavioral characteristics of tourists, tourism practitioners, and destination residents. By integrating theory with case-based practice, students will gain a deeper understanding of psychological mechanisms in tourism and learn how to apply them in areas such as product development, service enhancement, and organizational management.

Through the study of this course, students are required to master the basic theories and techniques of artificial intelligence for engaging in specific fields, especially It provides the necessary knowledge base for the development of artificial intelligence systems in the field of modern service industry and business intelligence.

Students are also required to understand the latest technologies, theories and methods of artificial intelligence development, and be able to choose suitable for the development of intelligent systems in specific fields technology and tools, and focus on mastering and mastering a certain type of key technology.

Designed for STEM students, this course systematically cultivates career planning capabilities. Beginning with self-assessment, students develop core competencies in time management, leadership, and teamwork through occupational exploration, goal-setting exercises, and decision-making training – enhanced by field visits, alumni panels, and workplace simulations. This course combines lectures, classroom exercises, and interactive activities to train students in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in modern Chinese. It explores the linguistic and cultural context of Chinese in Taiwan, broadens cultural perspectives, strengthens abilities in reading, writing, and expression (both oral and written) through selected readings and exercises, and enhances sensitivity to and appreciation of Chinese literary works.

This course systematically explores family change and family policy. It covers the definition, functions, and theories of the family, analyzes the transformation of family structures from traditional to modern forms, and compares family models and policies in East Asia, Europe, and China. The course delves into issues such as marriage systems, intergenerational care, and gender roles, while also addressing social problems like family poverty and violence. Against the backdrop of the digital age, the course evaluates the effectiveness of family policies, envisions the future of family policies from a global perspective, and cultivates students' analytical and problem-solving skills.
