The main content of this course consists of several kinds of polynomials of graphs, groups and graphs, and strongly regular graphs. It will enable the students know the algebric method to study combinatorial structures.

This course is an introduction to statistical methods of empirical social research, and how they are used to assemble, describe, and draw inferences from data. This course emphasizes on the most widely used statistical methods by social scientists, and how they can be applied on data from sample survey and archives.

This course aims to build foundational knowledge of global policy frameworks, systematically introducing core concepts, historical evolution, and key actors (states, international organizations, NGOs, etc.) of global public policy. Combining contemporary issues such as climate change, global health, and digital governance, it cultivates students' basic capabilities to analyze transnational policy challenges and governance mechanisms through real-world cases like the Montreal Protocol and COVID-19 vaccine distribution. It also covers cutting-edge topics such as technological governance and regional integration to solidify the cognitive foundation of global governance.

This course integrates basic business knowledge, Chinese language knowledge, spoken Chinese skills, and pragmatic cultural knowledge. On the one hand, it covers six topics: enterprise registration and introduction, market segmentation and business opportunities, bank interest rates and investment, recruitment, application and interviews, work summary and report, and Created in China. On the other hand, it focuses on the training of Chinese pragmatic, grammatical and spoken skills, so as to cultivate and improve students' appropriate and decent expression ability.

This is a cross-course between artificial intelligence (AI) methods and economics. The course will demonstrate to students how artificial intelligence methods can aid economists in obtaining and analyzing various large datasets through numerous economic research examples. With the help of AI technology, people can gain a deeper understanding of the operating laws of complex economic systems, explore potential solutions to real-world economic problems, and predict future economic trends. This course will also utilize economic knowledge to analyze the market competition patterns and development trends of the artificial intelligence industry in China.

This course is built around approximately 20 selected works by renowned French authors, aiming to systematically develop students’ literary analysis skills. It deepens their nuanced understanding of French at the levels of word, sentence, and discourse, while fostering a comprehensive awareness of major literary movements and styles in French literature. Weekly supplementary materials include social science texts and news listening exercises, designed to enhance the ability to parse complex structures and expand the use of advanced vocabulary. The course also incorporates targeted preparation aligned with the requirements of the Test for French Majors-Band 8 (TFM8), strengthening both comprehensive skills and exam readiness.

This course addresses the physical and mental health needs of college students, covering core modules such as health management overview, physical activity promotion, balanced diet, psychological growth, and addiction prevention. It integrates practical content including infectious disease control, chronic disease management, and environmental/occupational health. Through lectures and interactive discussions, students will develop a scientific health perspective and master skills in health risk identification and self-management, laying a solid foundation for future life and career development.

This course adopts a teaching model that combines "theory and practice" as well as "technology and art", covering core contents such as the full process technology of audio-visual content production and camera skills. Through three forms of theoretical instruction, practical exercises and expert lectures, it systematically explains the technical principles and applications of audio-visual technology, 4K/HDR production, live streaming, studio production, etc., and strengthens practical abilities such as shooting, lighting and editing. Through diversified teaching forms, it systematically cultivates students' comprehensive abilities in the field of audio-visual technology.

This course introduces data science techniques to harness financial data for making sound financial decisions or answering questions of financial interests. It combines tools used in a variety of fields (finance, economics and statistics). Students will finish the course equipped with a workman’s familiarity with the tools of financial data science, facility with financial data handling and statistical programming, and—hopefully—a good understanding of what decisions you want to make, or what questions you want to ask and how best to do it with econometric tools and financial data.
