The course presents the integration of three different disciplines under an applied philosophical dimension needed to achieve the impossible. A vision needs leadership to develop the strategy, the roadmap through which management coordinates the execution of thoughts and acts. Strategic management without leadership is a well thought plan with the vision. The course presents the philosophy behind each discipline, their integration and their execution through various frameworks, methods and practices, but also metrics, case studies, and examples.

This course covers the main concepts of game theory and the tools that game theory provides to analyze economic situations in which there are strategic interactions among agents. It provides an introduction to the different types of games depending on the nature of interaction (static, dynamic or repeated) as well as on the type of information agents have (perfect or imperfect). The course also discusses main equilibrium concepts (Nash equilibrium, sub game perfect equilibrium and Bayesian equilibrium) and their economic applications: non competitive markets, political competition, bilateral bargaining, auctions, voting systems and the problem of cooperation in repeated games.

This course engages with some of the key theories, approaches and findings that explore how language and social interaction underpin organizational life. The course draws on an interdisciplinary research field to interrogate the unique properties of "organizational discourse" and "institutional talk." It is structured around studies of organizational texts (e.g. recruitment brochures, mission statements, websites, and adverts), as well as studies of social interaction in organizational settings (e.g. business meetings, call centers, healthcare delivery, and sales encounters).
