This course will focus on basic mathematical models and methods in financial calculation analysis. Specifically, it includes basic problems in financial mathematics: basic concepts and methods of interest calculation, calculation of annuity cash flow model, basic method of calculating general investment return rate, principal and interest decomposition process of cash flow, fixed income securities, interest risk analysis, financial income in random situations.

This course aims to provide students with a basic understanding of the role of folk culture in cultural studies, the history, current state, and future development of folklore in the international humanities, the characteristics, functions, and modern significance of Chinese folk culture, as well as the origins, development, and spiritual essence of key folk culture events. Through this course, students will develop a deeper understanding of Chinese wisdom, national characteristics, and cultural traits, expanding their knowledge base and enhancing their ability to analyze and judge social phenomena from multiple perspectives.

This course introduces important and common foliage plants, using actual plants combined with slide presentations. The course covers: industry overview, indoor plant air purification, plant understanding and identification, growth habits, reproduction, temperature, light requirements, fertilizer management, light domestication physiology, nutritional health diagnosis, indoor greening and landscaping furnishings application, etc.

This course will take you on a journey from the microscopic to the macroscopic, showing you how social and natural scientists answer basic questions about human nature. The course is an introduction to the sciences of mind, including foundational concepts from neuroscience, evolution, genetics, philosophy, and experimental methods, and specific topics such as perception, memory, reasoning and decisionmaking,consciousness, child development, psychopathology, personality, language,emotion, motivation,sexuality, survival in the world, and social relations.

Ecology is a highly practical discipline that is closely related to daily life and social and economic development. Learn this course, realize the relationship between man and nature, the impact of human activities on the living environment and the root causes of many environmental problems, and constantly improve ecological literacy, cultivate

COURSE DETAIL
Ecological design is a design form that integrates the life process and reduces the impact of environmental damage; it is an effective way to adjust and integrate natural processes. Integration means designing that respects species diversity, reduces resource consumption, preserves nutrient and water cycles, maintains habitat quality, and pays attention to all other prerequisites for human and ecosystem health. In response to the impact of climate change on the ecological environment and human life, this course starts from ecologically- oriented thinking and discusses three unit themes from macro to micro: ecological environment planning, activity introduction planning, and ecological space design/ecological product design. In addition, through the topic discussion and practical exercises of each unit, students are cultivated to have the professional ability of ecologically oriented planning and design.
COURSE DETAIL
This course is suitable for learners who placed in the NTU Advanced level 1-1 course or above, meaning they have at least completed Lesson 13 of "Practical Audio-Visual Chinese Book 2," have a vocabulary of over 1,000 Chinese words, or have studied Chinese for a total of 300 hours in Taiwan (or 900 hours in other countries). It is also suitable for students who have passed the B1 level of the TOCFL Chinese Proficiency Test in Taiwan or the HSK Level 4 Chinese Proficiency Test.
The primary language of instruction for this course is Chinese, with English used as a supplementary language.

The practice teaching of this course mainly teaches the basic practice of yoga, including yoga breathing, postures, pranayama and yoga rest. The theory teaching section of this course mainly teaches the definition, origin, development stage, meridian and chakra of yoga, and how yoga promotes the physical and mental health of modern people.
